Fashion Beauty Friend Friday: Seeing Things Differently

And Hello. Another Friday already. Today we are sharing about those things that are different since fashion blogging.  If you want to join our Fashion Beauty Friend Friday go over and see Katy at ModlyChic. She is awesome!!

Seeing things Differently
1.  Since you began blogging do you notice a change in the types of things you gravitate towards while shopping?
I only go to the colors that I know suit me.  While I might like a certain fashion, if I know it doesn't fit my body type I don't try to make it work anyway.  As you can probably tell, I am a wide belt kinda gal.  Fitted, curve-defining. Thats my style.

2.  Do you find, as a fashion blogger, that you dress differently from your family and friends? Do they comment on that?
FUNNY. Oh yeah!  My friends comment all the time about how I dress and often ask if I will take them shopping. Even a few ladies in the building I work in have asked if I would take them out to help them find stuff that suits them.  Most of my family live in smaller communities and wear clothes that are outdoorsy- they are stylish but in a country-kinda way :)  I do have a cousin who is a model and SHE has really funky fashion sense.

3. What’s the weirdest fashion that you secretly like, even if you aren’t bold enough to wear it?
I like the boho looks, feathers, cowboy boots, flowing skirts, florals.

4.Looking at current trends – what would you like to try but need to build up the courage to do?Hmmm good question.. I like shorts and boots, or shorts and heels. I havent had the courage to do the shorts and tights kind of look.

5.Toot someone’s horn – what fashion blogger out there inspires you with her bold fashion choices?
Of course, its my fav fashion diva and creative talent: Emma of Daily Clothes Fix.  I could never pull off some of the wild and colorful outfits she wears and I am totally inspired by her ideas and her funky style!!

  10. Also love the boho look - love all of the feathered pieces that are around at the moment - seen a few feathers in hairs - which is a cool look too - I think!

  11. Thank you for sharing. I love your belted outfits... I buy belts but seldom wear them -- so it is nice to get ideas from you.
