Remix 10: Red Skirt

Did I tell you I LOVE GETTING DRESSED IN THE MORNING??? Since I started blogging in June I am excited to get up and get dressed. Everyday is a new adventure!! I have more pep in my step, color in my wardrobe and compliments about my great style! This is a breakthrough for me. I used to feel frumpy all the time, or look like a girl-jock.  Now I have so much fun playing with stuff to wear, scarves, boots, animal prints.. it's just damn awesome. OOOOPS I swore, but really, it rocks!!  I love this fitted look and these shoes I must say are so comfortable!  This outfit I came up with in about 5 minutes after coming home from teaching my spin class. Now at work I am so excited to show off my simple yet chic outfit! Well, at least I think so anyway!!  I just hired a new staff member and her first day of work was Monday. I notice she checks out my clothes, so I am wondering what she thinks of her new boss.....???

AND its sunny today. Had to pull out the good ol sunglasses. Don'tcha just love days like this?
I am guilty of not visiting alot of you lately. Please, its NOT personal. I have been so swamped with work its taking everything I have lately to get my wardrobe outfits posted!!!  I will be by soon I promise and I do miss you, there is a gap in my heart when I dont know what you are each wearing!!!

Remix items: red skirt, black turtle neck, leopard shoes.

toodle doo for now!! xoxo J oh yea and guess what?? this is WAY cool. I get to meet Marilou from TwentyYorkStreet next month when I go away on a business trip. ICANTDAMNWAIT. swore again. jodi-sewer-mouth...

  3. Single white female desperately seeking red skirt JUST like this one. I know exactly what you mean - sometimes I think I may have too much going on in my life and it might be easier to not blog so much...but then what would I get dressed for in the mornings?

  5. By the way, I have the same emotions when it is time to get dressed. Weird, I know. Perhaps not as colorful but stretching myself all the same.

  10. Oh, my! There ought to be a law against you wearing this outfit 'cause you draw attention away from the rest of us. :) The skirt is super-cute.

I'm glad you're enjoying how blogging makes us dress better. I feel the same way.

  15. Hooray for sunshine and more animal print and red. What more could a girl want? I'm pretty sure that's what your new employee is thinking too.

So jealous that you're meeting up with Marilou. They definitely need to invent bloggers shoes which are like Dorothy's so we can travel round to see each other and then three taps to go home. Would rather like a pair of red shoes too - one of the few colours I don't have. How cool would that be?

Anyway, that seems to have turned into War and Peace so I'll sign off. Early one tomorrow for the big haircut.

  16. Love it ... the shoes .. oh how I harp on about everyone's shoes.

If you were my boss, I'd be thinking ... hot diggity dog this gal has some slamming style ;-)

I too was a black, brown and beige gal ... have slowly been working on living in those three colours. Blogging sure makes you more conscious of what you wear and it so much fun.

  17. If you were my boss, I would ask you to help me go shopping! ;) I'm really jealous of this outfit because I don't own a hot red pencil skirt or animal print shoes.

ps. I love that your breaking into more color!! :D

  18. You're not alone with being busy. Notice when I finally got around to seeing what you've been up to? And you're one of MY FAVE'S! Aaack! I did write 6 posts and redesign my blog this weekend so at least I was productive in a bloggy kind of way.

Anyway. You look like a secret agent in that outfit. Secret agent = Awesome!
