My name is Jodi and I'm a black and red aholic. I just can't stop mixing black and red. Its not that I want to. I just can't HELP it.!!! Everytime I wear these red boots women and men alike comment when I walk down the street "GREAT BOOTS", " LOVE THE BOOTS", "Where'd you get those BOOTS?" I love it. I love them. The boots and the people. Look out when I wear these. I am important. Not just because red is a power color, but also because they go click click click when I walk. You hear me coming. And you look out. Jodi is coming. Hit the decks. Scatter. She is a force to be reckoned with!!
And I am free now to wear anything I want and let me tell you. Today it was totally challenging to figure out what the heck to wear. So strange isn't it!! I visited a few of you last night and hope to catch some more tonight.. life's been crazy busy lately. I haven't forgotten about you I promise. HI to new followers.. always love meeting new friends so thanks for coming by!!!
Toodle doo for now (this saying is from my grammy :) xoxo J
Yay! Red matching accessories is quite possibly one of my favourite tricks in my fashion arsenal. Your outfit looks deadly!
ReplyDeleteGirl!!!!!!!!! You are looking so fine ! I love this!
ReplyDeleteThat red belt and boots o yeah!!!
XX
Those are some hot power boots. I would only be able to wear them with black, so they are even bolder.
ReplyDeleteMy Heart Blogged
Those red boots are rock'n!
ReplyDeleteLove to see others in red and black, just doesn't work on me.
Haha I was expecting you to wear orange or pink or something today. you look smashing as always, and yes, the boots are awesome :D
ReplyDeleteYour outfit is so classicly perfect! Love the photos too- so gorgeous!
ReplyDeletexoxo
Because black and red are awesome! What else is there to say, really?
ReplyDeleteOf all the color-combos, this one is the best. So why fight it? Give in to your urge. Besides, a power-look suits you.
ReplyDeleteI guess it is very easy to become overwhelmed by too many options - though the boots were indeed an excellent choice!
ReplyDeleteChic on the Cheap
What a great outfit for your first day of freedom! What's black-and-red and cool all over? Jodi! Okay, that so stunk! My boys could make up something better.
ReplyDeleteAt first, I thought this was a jumpsuit. You could so pull that off with your height. I'm going to try to pull off a faux jumpsuit which is such a bad idea for a 4'11" gal. Stay tuned!
Thanks for the blog comments love!
Oh WOW!!! you look incredibly stunning, FABULOUS!!!

Happy Birthday! Read about you on Cinderita's blog and had to stop by to help you reach your 110 goal! :-) I am happy to report that I am follower number 105! YAY-so close. I have only read through your last couple of blogs but I love it. So glad she led me to your wonderful fashion tips and gorgeous photography! :-) Have a great time with the girls later...if Rita had a hand in planning it I am sure that it will be very memorable.
ReplyDeleteLove those red power boots! You look great. Don't stop mixing black and red I love it!
ReplyDeleteHA! I love that Jewels stopped by here! I forgot to even comment yesterday! I LOVE the way you're standing in the first shot. It's very hot...very.."come hither" and in those boots, who's gonna say no?! Love the whole outfit!!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking I could do the same but replace the black with pink! Wow! Although it's been awhile since I've worn my fabulous red boots..might be time to pull them out of the back of the closet...If I do, I'll let you take a photo! Promise!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
I'm going for a record. How many places I can say happy birthday to you. First on FB. Then on my Blog. Now on YOUR blog. Tomorrow in person. Oh wait. I'll text you too! hee hee
LOVE the red boots!! I love red, too. It's my favorite color. I'm from Athens, GA, home of the Univ of GA Bulldawgs and our colors are red and black. You'd fit in nicely here!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Jodi! I'm on the Rita train as well, so that puts you up to 106 :)
ReplyDeleteJudging by what I've seen so far, it looks like I'm about to get a whole lot braver with my wardrobe!
Sassy - love the final photo.
