Daily Outfit: Calgon. Take. Me. Away!


2 more sleeps. Then I am on holiday. It can't come fast enough. 5 days til xmas and who can even believe it?  I don't even need to pack any bags, I already have 2 big ones under my eyes. I need a retreat. Junk food, my mom's plush couch. Back to back movies. The occasional cross country ski adventure. Wine. Lots of wine.  Yes, then I will be relaxed. It's been a rough few weeks as you can probably tell since I haven't been visiting you as much.  I think its this time of the year anyway, but holy cow I need a holiday!!! Does anyone remember that commercial where everything is happening at once and the lady says " CALGON, take me awaaaaayyyy" and the next thing you know, she is laying in a bubble-filled bathtub relaxing...That's me today.

Hope I get some gift certificates this year as well. I need an infusion of color. I would love to find some bright skirts and dresses that I can layer.  Universe. I thank you for these gifts in advance!!! MWAH xox Jodi

    Have a good, much needed, restful, bubble bath filled holiday vacation... Make sure you drink a glass or two of wine for me!

    Wow all of that sounds amazing..(minus the wine haha im only 19) I definitely plan on watching some movies and maybe going sledding when I go home for my very short break of maybe 3 days...Guess I'll just have to pack all the fun in! :)

    Ooh, love that trench coat and this is a lovely mix of browns and blacks. Weirdly, I'm wearing brown and black too. I think we definitely have some psychic connection.

    Definitely up for meeting up if you're ever in the UK. In the meantime, take it easy, relax and have some seasonal cheer. You deserve it.

    I hear ya!!!! I have one more 8hr day shift and then I am home free until December 28th! Our holidays include a lot of travelling though so I will be collecting the bags under my eyes soon.
    Your coat looks fab on you. I love the popped collar. Keep up the good looks over the holidays. :)

    Yes, I remember that commercial! I love quoting random TV commercials from days of old and seeing if anyone gets it. Sadly, no one usually does because either they're too young or they weren't raised by TV like I was.

    Love that scarf! I see red earrings but no shot of them on a branch or fern?

    Take care. Maybe pick up some Lush instead of Calgon :o)

    I'm sending you virtual Calgon! I walk around the house quoting that commercial, I actually did take a bath last night when I got home. Highly recommend it. You're a lucky gal that what you consider to be a day with bags under your eyes is still a day when you look fabulous!

    Come in a little late, leave work earlier and get some rest:)

    I've been falling behind on visiting as regularly but it's all part of my sanity management! Btw, the red earrings look great against the pattern of the scarf <3 !
