Before and After

Yes, Jodi has gone AWOL for awhile.. I have botched the 30 for 30 challenge.  Let me tell you. I am NO quitter. However, I think I never really started the 30x30 with passion this time around. I wasn't prepared and having been mixing, therefore, I am out of the challenge for this time around (do you still love me?) LOL. I am just not excited about doing it this time- perhaps the next one that rolls around.

I went into work this morning and was all on track (am writing a guidebook for a project) and the phone kept ringing and people knocking on my office door. I was coming home for lunch anyway so what the heck-- I am working from home for the rest of the day. SO you see my before and after... Here I am now at home, music playing, patio door open, sun shining in and I am focused on finishing my guidebook (well, after I finish this post of course.. :).  Just me and Deze.

I was pricing out my outfit as I was walking home and I think my total outfit (skirt/top/shoes/belt) cost under $40.00 (and the top was new). Not bad.
Adios for now... work is caaaallllllinnnng. xoxo J

  1. Oh, J, of course I still love you. I thought about doing the challenge too but just didn't have the heart for it this round.

Love both these looks on you, btw. Especially the leopard tank (I feel like we could definitely bond over animal print). Enjoy working from home!

  2. Best of luck on the guidebook. Some projects just come together better with a cat on the lap and a cute animal print top.
It's Sunny in Seattle for the longest day of theyear. Hope it's shining north of the border too.

  6. I'm not disappointed about the 30/30. It is an aerobic endeavor. Glad you found somewhere you could get work done. My office is the same way.

  8. You know what? I was thinking that you would probably write about not continuing the 30 for 30! Again, scary moment here...And NO, of course you are no quitter, you just realized that you were not ready for it this time, may it be mentally or time wise, or whatever.:) And it's great that you can work from home! Cats help with the concentration you know? ;) Have a fab day my dear

  10. Your belt is fabulous .. don't think I can do the 30 for 30 - would drive me nuts - but when I think about, I did 30 x 30 for at least 3 months or more - in fact, probably less items, because I had a pair of black, beige and brown pants and maybe two skirts when I first when back to work upon returning to SA - I think that's one of the reasons why it just doesn't interest me much! lol
