See the look in the 2nd photo? Well my mom used to tell me she would "wipe that smirk off my face". NICE. LOL it just makes me laugh because I do have a smirk on my face. And no, she never did wipe it off!!
I had about 10 minutes to quickly take my photos today so they are very basic and uncreative. We are doing a complete overhaul of our organization right now so it is taking much focus and time. Strategic planning, revamp of our website, new policies and procedures, new staff to be coming... lots going on-- its good stuff but also challenging (and fun). Never an excuse for not looking fabulous though and someone told me that I looked "cute" today, and that I actually always look good at work, so thats a compliment and a result of becoming a blogger I'd say, so cool!
I am really really really wanting a pair of new high-waisted, wide legged jeans. Anyone know a good place to find some of these? The ones I am wearing are not so high-waisted and fitted so would love to know if anyone else has found some of the latest style that could recommend. I love high-waisted stuff, thank goodness its IN these days!!
Catch up with you soon babes!! Love ya and am leaving ya (for tonight :)

Lol, I like that smirk. My favorite wide legged jeans come from Gap and Express, but not sure how high-waisted they are. I love that style too.
ReplyDeleteJodi! You rock those wide leg pants! I imagine Banana Republic might have them? H & M? Ann Taylor/Loft? Clearly I don't know anything, but I hope you find some!
ReplyDeleteCome check out my A-to-Z!
Ummm I saw some high-wasted wide-legged jeans at h&m the other day...but I had no time to try them on, I had no time. I'm in search for a pair of these as well you see.. :)
ReplyDeleteI like the smaragd green with the blue of your jeans..looks sophisticated, yet cool.
Hello smirker. :-) Love the greens and blues here and how your collar peeks from the cardigan. Those jeans are great too. Good luck finding another pair.
ReplyDeleteI love your blouse...it is so cute! I am also seeking the best place to look for affordable jeans! My dad used to tell me to wipe off the smirk...but since becoming a teacher of high school students, I kind of understand the problems with the smirk...you know they are mocking you deep inside!! But, a smirk does make for a great fashion photo....
ReplyDeleteI love these jeans I would also like a pair of high waisted ones with big blue buttons on either side to go with some of my nautical looking tops but have not found any yet! :(

Smirk away sister....this is one of my new fav outfits of yours!!! LOVE LOVE you rocking those jeans!! I want some too!!
ReplyDeleteUgh! I hate the "reorg"! Been thru that too many times. It is simply no fun. Try to smile or smirk, it will be over soon.

Great jeans! I am still trying to decide on if I can pull off wearing this style After looking at these great photos, I am inspired to get a pair. You can find high waisted wide leg jeans at Alloy or Zappos. You make these look classy and comfortable.

Re-orgs are tough. I've been through a few, and they are always a challenge. I love the wide-legged pants on you!
ReplyDeleteI have heard great things about the GAP wide leg jeans but I havent been able to test them out as they have been sold out of size forever.
ReplyDeleteJodi, I just got these wide-legged jeans from the Gap (http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=49340&vid=2&pid=818199) and they are super-long and very high-waiste.
ReplyDeleteLove your smirk, and love the poses on the stairs! So cute!!! :)
ReplyDeleteMy high waisted jeans are from NY & Co., but I had to alter the hem.
I love these jeans on you. I'm not sure where to get more though. I keep hearing people rave about The Gap's wide leg jeans. But, I personally end up looking preggo in high waisted jeans.

I'm in love with that belt, and you look Fab-u-lous in those jeans. I just saw some high-waisted flared jeans at the Gap. They where too flared from me, but I'm sure you could rock them;)
ReplyDeleteYou always look cute and I love that ruffle blouse paired with the cardigan.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so happy wide leg pants are back in style and of course the pair your wearing is making me jealous.
ps. I found a pair at Uniqlo a couple of years ago. They may be apart of the permanent jean collection.
