Red Green Show

I rushed this morning off to teach my spin class so threw these items in my bag and hoped they would look good together. I feel like a xmas tree. Red, Brown, Green. Or like the Red Green Show.  Its a weird Canadian show that has alot of jokes about duct tape. Not that I watch it but Red Green made me think of it.  And then I guess the grey of duct tape makes me think about my new grey boots... hmmm, the things to think about instead of finishing this report for work I should be doing right now...

I HAVE to plan colorful outfits since I don't HAVE alot of color in my closet.  So this weekend I will be busy working on some outfits.  I did almost reach for black this morning thinking "dah, Who cares..." BUT because of my Fashion OATH I couldn't do that. SEEEEEE ladies.. it works!!!

Maybe tonight I can come by to see you all.  Here's my question.  Do you have some good examples of outfits combining GREY and BROWN that you could refer me to?  I am still not sure about combining those 2 colors...  thats the homework for you for now my friends.. help Jodi look presentable and wean her off black!!! LOL

Toodle doo as my grammy would say. MWAH xoxo J

  4. I love it when people wear a grey cardi and belt it with a brown or cognac belt. Or any grey main article of clothing with brown accessories.

  11. BTW, Red is your color! I think gray and brown looks good with a pop of burnt orange. For example, gray knit dress, brown boots and an orange scarf. I used to wear this little brown bomber jacket with gray sweater and an orange purse and loved how that looked.

  12. Well, you need to definitely wear red more often because it looks great on you!

My coworker just did the simpliest of brown and gray combinations - jeans, a gray sweater, and brown heeled boots. It looked simple and chic!

  13. I really like this outfit. I'm not sure how much gray and brown I've seen. I think they would go together really well though. Here a few looks from chictopia for inspiration.

  14. I don't have any examples of brown and grey, but I just have to say that I am loving all this colour on you. It's awesome!

Also, you had asked me how I got my pictures to be those colours on my post last Friday, and the answer is... I don't have much to do with it. I just take pics with the Hipstamatic app on my iPhone and that is how they turn out!

  16. I love you in red!!
I know I have some pics of grey and brown together, but I'm so hopped up on cold meds I can't concentrate enough to find them. Hopefully I feel better this weekend and can give you some links :)

  17. No, this is not Christmas-y at all. It's nothing but fabulous. I wish I had come up with this outfit, then I'd brag about how awesomely I combined these items. Seriously, I love it.

As for the grey and brown, I don't think I have any. Usually I wear a grey dress with a brown belt and boots and that is the only grey/brown combination I do. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

I've been through my inspiration folder for you and I recommend DKNY for grey and brown together. There's loads of looks. Pics on Vogue: http://www.vogue.co.uk/fashion/show.aspx/full-length-photos/id,8689
