The Lady with the BROWN Belt

Okay, so kindof like Curious George and the MAN with the Yellow Hat. I am the LADY with the Brown Belt. Please, anyone, take a donation and send me a new brown belt.. aren't you getting tired of me wearing it by now?  It's not like I am a huge fan of brown but I just find this belt goes with everything!! LOL. Maybe I should add Brown-belt-aholic to my Black-aholic resume...!

Okay. Want some real Jodi today?  I am so challenged by one of my staff.  Everytime I turn around its something else.  I know there are lessons for me to learn in this, for me to grow and reflect and that its not about her, but about me and how I react and work through these opportunities (as Wayne Dyer my Husband would say :).  I went from having a perfectly great day to having my blood boiling just from an email she sent me.  It's not personal Jodi, Yes, I know this. AND boy its got me going. She is a very talented and smart person but boy oh boy that comes with some high maintenance behaviour if you ask me.  Okay. deep breath.  I am okay.  Wheres the vodka?????  LOL

AND LOOK! I almost never wear pants. This is one of the few pairs that are long enough... so there you go.. learning more and more about me each day!!  adios for now!!! oxoJ

  4. I have to agree with Gertrude, great top. Those are really nice pants. I never really noticed until now you don't wear pants often because of your height. While I'm not much of vodka person anymore, do what you gotta do. I'm more of a captain morgan girl myself. Too much cheap vodka did me in.

  5. Sorry you had a bad day. On the plus side, you look great and the belt is fab and shows off your fabulous shape.

I'm on the whisky after the week from hell. Maybe there's something going round. Did you buy a boat to cheer yourself up? ;-)

  8. I Love the pants! They were one of the first things I noticed. They make your legs look loong and skinny, nice work ;)

  9. Hey...i thought you were bringing over the wine?? I just had a less than encouraging visit at the doctor's office, so we could lament together. I try to always be positive...to begin with you look great...I love this top!! The belt is a keeper because it works...no one will know unless you keep reminding them! Some wise advise...be quick to listen and slow to speak and slow to become angry!! This is more about her than you....but if you look this great tomorrow, she will be intimidated!!

  11. I would kill for legs that long. The belt makes it look like your legs go up to your armpits! So jealous.

  14. Amazing look: sophisticated, chic and professional. I envy you.

Sorry about work. You can't avoid situations like this so you need to try to control your reactions. I know: easy to say, hard to do. I struggle with it myself.

  16. Wait, did I miss something? Are you Mrs. Dyer now? Love that blouse. Flowy and pretty. That necklace is fun!

I can empathize with you and your co-worker situation. Just yesterday another co-worker and I were discussing how we need to be nicer to/about her and be positive and patient. The reason she rubs us the wrong way is because she always says that she never makes mistakes and acts like she's perfect. If you make the tiniest error, she will e-mail you and bcc our asst manager! Our mgr isn't dumb, she's knows how our co-worker is and even replied to all which is how we discovered the whole blind copy thing! But, boy have her errors piled up this week! I could go on and on, but this isn't the Jen HaHA show :D

  17. Sounds like the two of us needed to hijack one of those boats behind you and go out for a booze cruise this week.
