Daily Outfit: Zebra Turtle neck

Happy Monday!! Thank you tons for all your great birthday wishes.. it was a  really fun weekend filled with lots of adventure (and naps in between :)!!  I can't wait to show you some of the great things I got as gifts too.. oh boy can hardly WAIT! Especially because I now have 2 more Leopard items to add to my wardrobe!!! woooo hoooo.  I could NOT figure out what to wear this morning.. ohhh it was hard. And then I get to work and by lunchtime realize that why I don't wear this top more often... well.  The armpits STINK!!  You know that kind of material that just seems to not breathe. Of course. its not my armpits. NO. Its THE TOP.  Okay so thats a piece of Jodi unplugged today and as you can probably imagine, I am waving across the office to my coworkers and emailing them instead of actually going over to talk to them. Thats the last thing I want to hear is " Jodi looks great but boy does she STINK".  LOL

Hi to new followers.. see, I am waving.. I am not coming over... (I smell bad)...

How do you all like the new blog layout? I quite like it. Did it myself too!!!

  1. I like it. It's all about the photos now. That's awesome. And uhm..you might not want to model that one item you got. lol...atleast not for us. LOL. And I used to have a top like the one you're wearing...the kind where the armpits stink. I got rid of that suckers asap.

  2. I have shirts like that too! And they're dang sneaky... they only reveal their polyester-stink-grabbing qualities After I arrive at work. Gaw!

  4. I'm digging out my pinky-purple leggings and relegating them to the wear pile, instead of the costume party pile :)

  6. Kudos on the layout and all by yourself!

    Very impressed over here.

I adore that raspberry color you are wearing with the blacks and zebra.

  7. Lol! I totally have had those shirts. The worst is that sometimes I have to do presentations in our basement (simulated) store environments, and it's HOT down there. I'm an active gal with an enthusiastic cooling mechanism, I've learned to drink ICE water to keep from sweating. Yeesh!

Love the new layout, it's so clean and simple:) And the fuschia tights, too. Perfect accent of color. Sorry about the stinky shirt. It at least looks nice!

  8. I love the splash of colors in the leggings. I probably wouldn't have thought to do something like that...mainly because I dress up rarely. As a nanny skirts, dress shoes, and stockings are pretty inhibiting. :-( I'll keep it in mind for my next girls night out though!

  9. The new layout is good: clean and easy to read.

That top made me dizzy! The pattern is visually disorienting.

I've had clothes that either didn't fit right or caused the kind of problem this one did and, regardless of how good they look, they end up being too much trouble, especially if you plan to wear them all day. We need to be comfortable in our clothes.

  16. Haha! Your description of the shirt = too funny! I like how you paired the "wild" shirt with the professional outfit. I would have shied away from animal prints, but you really pull them off! :)
